Job Details:
Manages all related aspects of care delivery for Rehabilitation Services at the Medical Center. Oversees operations, programs, and therapy services in inpatient and outpatient Rehabilitation Services. Assists with planning and implementation of patient and non-patient care activities to achieve desired clinical outcomes and organizational objectives and program development. Develops and grows the staff, establishing sound relationships with physicians, clinicians, nurses, and other key stakeholders to accomplish service line goals. Ensures continuous process improvement and redesign in therapy services and patient experience. Engages in research and integrates evidence-based practice into clinical, operational, financial, logistical, and leadership processes.
Job Requirements:
Required Education: Bachelor s Degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Pathology
Preferred Education: Master s or advanced clinical degree, Business, or Healthcare Administration
Required License: Current NC license to practice in PT, OT, or SP
Preferred License: None
Required
Experience: 5 years supervisory experience with a total of 8 years of clinical practice. Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, internet, MS Office. Demonstrated ability to manage clinical operations, business and financial planning, and quality improvement projects. Leads and develops staff members. 4
Strong operations, communication, financial, and customer service skills required.
Preferred
Experience: 5 years of supervisory experience of clinical rehabilitation services.
